Dan Kaufman

Dan Kaufman has been practicing in the area of personal injury law in the State of Florida for over 22 years. Mr. Kaufman handles cases for his clients from their initial sign up process through settlement or trial. He assists his clients directly throughout the claim and litigation process.

Each client receives Mr. Kaufman’s personal cell phone for direct contact with him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Mr. Kaufman has handled trials in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. His caseload has included, but not been limited to, many types of personal injury cases involving wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, brain damage, paralysis, surgery, and permanent injuries.

 

Mr. Kaufman is an adjunct professor of law at the Nova Southeastern School of Law. He has been teaching law school for over 15 years and is currently teaching two courses each year on the Rules of Court and Trial Skills. Mr. Kaufman has received an AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory – its highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards. He has also been honored with entry into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which recognizes lawyers who have settled or obtained a verdict of over $1,000,000.00.

 

Mr. Kaufman is an active volunteer in the community. He was recognized as the Sheinberg Family YMCA of Weston’s Volunteer of the Year in 2010 and sat on the Weston YMCA’s Board of Directors including time as the Chairman of the Board. Mr. Kaufman has been a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida since 1997. He has been recognized several times for his service including the Volunteer of the Year and Wish Granter of the Year Awards. He continues to volunteer as a Wish Granter, and has already helped grant over 150 different wishes. Mr. Kaufman also has volunteered to teach with the Junior Achievement program in his community’s local elementary school for the past 15 years. He has taught in over 30 different classrooms.

 

Dan Kaufman has dedicated his career to helping victims who have suffered personal injuries in falls, car crashes, attacks, pool related injuries, wrongful death, ≈product defects, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and various other types of claims. Mr. Kaufman also handles insurance disputes, homeowner’s claims, and various other insurance matters.
